Luke O'Tool

For this painting we got to pick what we wanted to paint but it needed to be a animal.I decided to paint a eagle because they are very popular and cool looking. I like how the little details came out but I do not like how the beak looks, it is too long and doesn't look detailed enough. I tried to use texture in the feathers and make them look as real as possible and I think they turned out pretty well but I could have done a better job. I like how I used color too, the green background really makes the eagle pop out and catches the viewer's eye right away. I used unity in the top of the eagle with the eye and did some good detail and made it look as good as I can and think it turend out very well.
