Luke O'Tool

For this painting we had to use acrylic for our type of paint. We got to pick what we painted and I wanted to do something unique and different so I picked a panda in a jean jacket and a bow tie. I knew from the beginning that the texture in his shirt was gonna be hard and I think I could have done better on it. I should have more of a balance between the lines and have them fade more into a lighter color in the face and the shirt. I tried to use a better value between the colors and have them mix better.I liked the color choices that I mixed together but the lines in the shirt are too dark. I used more of a rhythm with the greys and blacks in the face. Overall I like more painting but I think I could have done better with the face and the features with the shirt.
