Luke O'Tool

For this painting we had to picture a landscape picture and use the water color technique to paint it. I wanted to do a cool sky in the background and some sort of tree in the picture also. For the sky I used wet on wet for how I used watercolor effectively. I used value with it bein darker up top and lighter at the bottom for the sky and same for the grass. I also use a grass texture on the hill but I think I could have done a lot better job. I tried to use some sort of contrast in the tree with the light and darker spots and think it turned out good overall. I a lot   tried to use a rhythm of color in the sky and have it look the same and not really choppy. Overall I dont like how the hill or the tree looks but I really like how they sky turend out and think it was fun and a learning experiance.
